I recently came across an article on
LitHub which presented a list of novels, poetry, and essays by
authoritarians.
It seems that a number
of authoritarian figures have had literary pretensions.
Beside Joseph Stalin, Joseph Goebbels, and Muammar
Gaddafi is included the recently departed White House Chief Strategist, Stephen
Bannon.
