Jackson’s The Haunting of Hill House
appears on virtually everyone’s list of most scary books, so it is not
surprising that Netflix is working on a 10-episode straight-to-series
re-imagining of Shirley Jackson’s classic 1959 novel. Apparently, the modern re-imagining draws
from the original classic ghost story while expanding on the mythology of the
Crane family. A specific release date
has not yet been announced, so look for it in 2018.
