The theme for Canada
Reads 2016 is all about starting over. "The show will feature books about
transformation and second chances, stories of migrants, immigrants and others
who are choosing - or forced - to make major changes in their lives." Considering world events, this is a very appropriate theme.

I've only read three of the titles: The Hero's Walk, Sweetland (reviewed on November 18), and The Illegal (reviewed on September 19). I loved all three! I had best get to reading the rest.
The five finalists will be revealed on January 20 in preparation for the debates March 21 – 24, 2016.
