Fall Book Preview

Summer is almost half over so it’s time to start looking forward to all the new books that come out in the fall.

The Millions has an extensive preview of fall books:  http://www.themillions.com/2017/07/anticipated-great-second-half-2017-book-preview.html.

Publishers Weekly compiled a list of ten debut books to check out this fall:  https://www.publishersweekly.com/pw/by-topic/authors/profiles/article/74148-writers-to-watch-fall-2017.html.

And since I’m Canadian, I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention the fall preview of fiction prepared by 49th Shelf:  https://49thshelf.com/Blog/2017/07/10/Most-Anticipated-Our-Fall-2017-Fiction-Preview.

Here are the titles I most want to read this autumn:
The Scarred Woman by Jussi Adler-Olsen
Smile by Roddy Doyle
First Snow, Last Light by Wayne Johnston
Bluebird, Bluebird by Attica Locke
The Burning Girl by Claire Messud
Little Fires Everywhere by Celeste Ng
The Golden House by Salman Rushdie
Three Daughters of Eve by Elif Şafak
Lost in September by Kathleen Winter
