Immigrant Literature

Because of the current political climate in the United States, people must listen to the voices of others in order to understand them and to create a more tolerant world.   One group which has come under attack is immigrants so I was pleased to find a list of contemporary fiction about the immigrant experience in the U.S.:  http://lithub.com/10-contemporary-novels-about-the-immigrant-experience-in-america/.

Of course, Canada is also a country of immigrants.  49th Shelf compiled a list of books about Canada from an immigrant’s point of view:  https://49thshelf.com/Lists/Editors/The-Immigrant-Experience.
